Applications of the Speed Switch

The DSS-2 is an electronic device that protects engines from underspeed and overspeed conditions, and the wear and damaged caused by them. By shutting down a motor or engine, the DSS-2 can prevent jamming, overheating, and breaking in a variety of equipment.

Possible applications include the following:

Electronic Speed Switch:

• Crank Motor Disconnect above normal cranking speeds
• Engine overspeed protection
• Engine underspeed protection
• Engine load control

• PTO Protection
• Magnetic Brake Retarder
• Shit Inhibitor
• Bus Door Control
